Now
My work is about helping people make better decisions for themselves, based on what matters to them and the situation they're in.
I'm CEO of BD360, where I'm building DLY to help with decisions about athletes' return to play (RTP).
I also contribute to open-source projects:
I share my work on GitHub and LinkedIn and stay in touch with people working in the field.
Before
Whenever I moved somewhere new, sport was how I got to know new friends. I practiced taekwondo, then studied physical education and sports medicine in Seoul. After that, I spent two years in digital health business development.
Making things and experimenting with them has always been the most fun part for me. It started with water rockets as a kid, then moved on to a Pose Estimation project, startups, open source, and AI agents.
I used to co-host RalphQS, a community for people exploring AI and personal data.
The way I build and experiment has not changed much. I make something first, learn from what does not work or what is still missing, then keep working on it.
Taste
I want to move between cities where sport is part of everyday life. I want to work out with people there, watch games, and occasionally host events. Singapore is one place where I've tried living that way.
When I'm on my own, I want to learn about the fundamentals and connect what I learn to my own experiences. I value the understanding and insight that come from learning, the questions it leads me to ask, and the conversations it opens up.
That's also the room I want to make by delegating more work to AI. I want time to learn and meet people, while keeping exercise and rest in my day.
I don't feel the need to own most things. When it comes to where I stay and how I get around, I prefer to choose what fits the city and the moment: Airbnb, Uber, or Waymo.
I've written about my daily rhythm and the spaces I like these days.
But I do want to own things that say something about me or hold a memory. That includes sports and tech gear like WHOOP and Oura, objects connected to The Blue House, and things tied to places or communities I've been part of, like a Codex cap.
